Almost all of the rock is sedimentary, its strange.

Hey Chris!

This is the Accident Mine. Great photos you posted up. Sure was a fun day hiking up there and looking around. After the rain and snow, it was a beautiful day!

Thanks! I forgot the name. I appreciate you taking us out so much! Next time, I'll come alone and we'll hit up any other deep mines you'd like to explore. I'll also be working on that GPS list trying to weed out junk mines.

Can you PM me your address, so I can send you a little something?

Without trying to sound like a mutual admiration society, it sure was fun spending time with you and Erin. I think she did great for her first time out! I look forward to your next visit. We'll find some great mines.

Great pictures and narrative. FYI- here out west hard rock mines have Ore Bins or just Bins usually - tipple is a coal mining term.

Great pictures! I am particularly interested in the fact that all the track is still there. The WWI and WW2 salvagers obv thought it too much of a pain to go after, no?
